McGrogan's Tap Room

Stopped here while I was in Canonsburg for work. I'm a home energy auditor and I was assigned a big job at an apartment complex that was time sensitive so I needed something fast for lunch. This place showed up when I searched for "restaurants" to just see what was close to where I was so I figured I would give it a go. First off I will say that both the bar side and the restaurant side were very clean and the staff were excellent! The lunch specials they had running were a great bargain as my coworkers and I were able to get a large pizza and drinks for all of us for the same price that you would end up paying just for drinks at other establishments. I think the deal was a large 1 topping pie and 4 drinks for 13 or 14 which I found to be one of the best food deals I've seen in recent years anywhere! We placed our order with a very friendly young woman who was working the bar side and she got us our drinks immediately. Anytime one of us had about 1/4 of our drink left she was right there asking if they wanted a refill. This showed superb service from this young woman! We had our food within 10 minutes which was delicious and made perfectly! Overall we were there for less than 20 minutes from the time we entered the door until I received my receipt for the bill and were back at the job site 25 minutes after we first left. Since the prices were such a remarkable bargain I left the attractive young lady a 20 tip on a bill just shy of 16. Even with that tip amount it was still cheaper than any other restaurants with far superior service! I highly recommend this little gem in a hole in the wall if you want even just great food let alone not breaking the bank and the friendliest service ever.

Totally loved this little bar and grill. They say Pittsburgh is a tavern kind of town and McGrogan's truly is The Burgh. Being from out of town but not too far away Columbus, we just took in the atmosphere. The food was damn good. Get the hamburger or hot dog. Simple menu items, right? McGrogan's cooks them exceptionally well. The pepperoni roll is a good appetizer and the homemade french fries are terrific. Friendly staff, too.

My wife and I went for lunch. The initial impression when you roll up beside the Rite-Aid; is that this may be a local bar and not much more..... That impression is INCORRECT; yes it is primarily a bar. Yes there are day drinkers (to each their own), and the food is really good!! The lunch specials are solid; you'll be pleasantly suprised! Try it! Not for kids and there will be locals kicking back a few at 11am or 12pm. The food is good, and well priced.

Stopped in for a srink. Hankering for a bite. Got a huge, happy morsel of a meal. Deeelicious and tender was more than a joy *{{{

Food is excellent, bar staff is nice and make you feel welcome. On Tuesday they do trivia which is free to play & prizes to win for the top 3. Madison bartends trivia nights and is phenomenal!

This is the greatest bar and restaurant in Canonsburg. The food is great and reasonably priced. The large beer selection will have something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you go through the city stop in and have a drink and something to eat.

Always a laid back atmosphere, staff that is great, and fare that is decently priced and large portions. One of our favorite places to get together for Mom n mini time. I'm writing this for both McGrogan/Big Fellas as we use both services when there. There are chance games, live bands, karaoke, lunch specials, dart board and juke box available. Bathrooms always clean, and large drink selection.

Went here last night, the food was amazing and really affordable! The chicken wings I ordered were evenly sauced and the Buffalo sauce tasted super good. I also got bread sticks which, I’m not lying when I say this, were the best bread sticks I’ve ever eaten in my life. Friendly atmosphere with really cool staff, if you’re in the area looking for a fun time I highly recommend! Will certainly be back soon.
